Anyone ever realize that in Fionna & Cake that the world with Jerry, aka The Lich that succeeded, is the same one that made the wish to Prismo. After killing Billy getting the gems and getting Prismo to make his wish reality, no one knew exactly what his wish was, but one could assume from the Fionna & Cake show that it was to kill all life due to The Lich literally preaching to Golb about his only intentions. I feel that in order to really get his wish, Prismo made a universe for him to do just that. Though Jake changed The Lich's wish I still believe that Prismo left the wished for universe alone and made two versions of The Lich, one that had his wish changed amd the other that remained in his universe. Subsequently, theres a small part of my that believes that Jakes wish also made its own universe, but I don't like that head cannon so I won't incorporate it.
